The Transformation (open)

Leo snuggled his little head into Holly's fur. "no look down. . . no look down. . ."

While Holly was climbing the tree, and stopped on a suitble branch to teach her friend how to fly, she started thinking that because she no longer looked like herself in human form. She would have to come up with a new name because her old one was tied to her old life, and this would be a new way of life.

Leo clung to her already set on his new name. He made sure not to look down as she climbed then stopped.

A lonely 8 year old boy was sitting in a dark locked room that only had a very small window tough the sun never shined trough it. his parents had vanished a while ago so no one longer fed him and during the dark loneliness in the room his body had transformed into a cat like being.
He often looked at the small window wondering if he would ever get to see what was out there.

Holly smiled and unfurled her wings, and leapt off the tree branch, letting her wings snap open at the last instant and she soared upwards into the sky. But at that moment while concentrating on flying. Something told her that a friend was in need someone who had once been in contact with periodically before the net system had gone down completly. "I think someone needs our help, but its going to be a long journey in getting there. Do you think you feel up to the task?"

Leo clung to her flapping his own little wings and nodded. "We go help, we go help"

The boy was looking at his very small window again and spotted something that looked like it flew by, he got curious at what it could be so he tried to pound on the wall with his weakened body to try to make whatever it was curious of what could be in there.

Holly heard something far below her, and turned to try and determine where the sound was comming from. "Hope that is our friend, and not someone getting ready to shoot me." Came the soft catlike growl. Though she had yet to voice the name she would take.

Leo looked down and pointed to a house "sound coming from that house"

The boy kept pounding on the wall and tried to call out to make more sound but the only sound that made it past his lips were a mew.

Holly inclined her head and headed in the direction that her friend was pointing. "Yes it does seem to be coming from that house. Hopefully who ever is in there keeps it up so we can fully center on which side of the house the sound is emanating from."

Leo forgetting that he hadn't been trained in flying yet and his fear of heights jumped off of Holly's shoulder and started falling towards the house. Once he realized what he was doing he squeeked out in horror and frantically tried to fly. Halfway through the plummet he finally suceeded in stopping the fall his little wings carrying him slowly downward to land on the roof "phew I forgots. . ."

The boy looked around the small room for something that could help him make more noise and then only thing inside the room besides himself was the bowl that his parents had used to give him food in, so he picked it up and started to use it to hit the wall and it made an louder sound than when he used his own hands tough it was more tiring for his weak body.

Holly landed on the ground outside, listening closely to the banging side, and started to approach the area that it came from. "I think its comming from this side of the house, hopefully we will be able to find the window thats open enough to let sound come through. And maybe we will be able to find a way inside the house if its not locked." She couldn't help but gryn slightly at her little friend. "That is the first step to flying though."

Leo looked down at Holly then moved around on the roof over towards where the sound was coming from. He slowly scaled down and found the small hole for a window and looked in. "it. . . it Gaki!!!!!"

Gaki kept pounding the bowl on the wall but gave up eventually since his weak little body couldnt take it anymore, so he sat down and looked up towards the window and to his suprise he saw an very fammiliar face looking back at him. "A...ah.."

Holly lowered her head to look in the window and smilled at the young kitten. "Yes it is him. We are going to get you of there Gaki. Just hang on okay. Keep him company while I go look for the front door." Her firey emerald eyes would have looked familir, as did the coat patern.

Then she headed for the front porch. Her claws started glowing with flames like that of a pershon she had once wrote of named catclaw. She suspected that she had gained the abilitie of being able to play with fire much like her guardian character and was interested in trying it out, especially if the door was locked.

Leo clung to the little window looking in "we gets you out Gaki, hold ons"

"....ok Le..leo" Gaki kept looking up at the window where Leo was but his body was getting weaker and weaker because of the lack of food.

Holly, burned the door down, and stepped into the living room of the house, and headed for the kitchen thinking that might possibly be where the cubbord was, and hoping that she she was going in the direction. This was a strange house to her. Plus the fact it was unfamiliar and she could get lost in such a place as this.

"Gaki be alright, we save you." Leo clung to the window trying to ensure Gaki he will be free. "This way Holly!"

Gaki had felt the smell of the smoke that came from burning down the door and he started to panic.

Holly finally found the cubord that housed gaki, and quickly opened the door up. "You are now free Gaki." She looked at the poor kitten, and waited to see if he had enough strength to get out on his own. If he didn't then she would pick him up and carry him out of the house.

Leo fluttered down to the ground and decided to wait there for them.

Gaki smiled when he saw Holly enter the room..but was too weak so when he tried to get up he fell onto the ground again....and that made him cry since he wasnt able to get away from there.
